This is the first sequence from my Dwayne & The Gang animated short titled "A Date With Destiny." As a kid, I enjoyed watching Japanese anime, specifically Dragon Ball Z. I decided to incorporate the simple action elements of its predecessor Dragon Ball in an attempt to use action in my boards for the first time. I was also inspired by the interactions between me and my friends when we would mimic these fights on the playground during recess. It brings me back to my childhood in a way.
